IAXA Vintage Chronograph – Landeron Calibre 248 – Mint Condition

A beautiful vintage Swiss chronograph with a remarkably well-preserved gold-plated case, an elegant off-white dial and the respected Landeron 248 hand-wound chronograph movement.

The case is in mint condition, with its elegant angular lugs and polished gold-tone bezel retaining a remarkably fresh appearance. The off-white dial features applied gold-tone baton hour markers, raised Arabic numerals at 12 and 6, and two recessed sub-dials at 3 and 9 o’clock. The finely detailed outer scales combine a black seconds/minute track, a blue tachymeter scale and red markings, giving the dial an attractive technical character. The original-style hands and slim central chronograph seconds hand complete this classic design.

Inside is the Landeron calibre 248, a Swiss-made, manually wound chronograph movement from a renowned family of movements widely used by Swiss watch brands during the mid-20th century. Its cam-operated chronograph mechanism helped make mechanical chronographs more accessible while remaining a well-established movement in vintage watchmaking.

The watch is fitted with a beautiful vintage NOS (New Old Stock) leather strap, complementing its period character.
