The 1970s saw watch design break free from tradition, with artists like French designer Serge Manzon redefining what a watch could be. Known for his sculptural, modern approach, Manzon created bold yet elegant designs for Longines that blurred the line between functional object and wearable art.
This model perfectly reflects that vision. Its compact steel case (17 Γ 29 mm) frames a striking brushed gold crosshair dial, whose graphic layout feels more like mid-century design than traditional Swiss watchmaking.
Powered by a manual-winding movement and paired with the original black lizard leather strap, itβs understated, distinctive, and unmistakably avant-garde.
This particulair example is a real time-capsule. It's fully original and even retains the original lizard strap en goldplated buckle.
Overall it's in a very clean condition with only small traces of ever being worn.
A real unique time piece
